Democratizing talent opportunities through ethical AI: Webinar

Before I joined Gloat, webinars were at an internal crossroads: they routinely drew the largest spikes in engagement, page views, and leads generated, but their impact disappeared just as quickly as they came and monopolized a ton of resources (money, specifically).

Like any tech industry, there’s a ton of noise in the market and the best way to grab a potential customer’s attention is to have someone they respect—having no apparent affiliation with the company they’re working with—repeating the things we’ve already been saying for months. These post-webinar pages accomplished three main goals:

  1. Gave the videos a second life for viewers who missed the scheduled airing while collecting additional lead information (form fills)

  2. Boosted our SEO efforts, putting our target searches in a heavily backlinked and trafficked resource

  3. Provided countless ways to repurpose the content we paid for: using clips on social media, taking high-value quotes for other blogs or sales email campaigns, and a companywide quote repository—searchable by industry of the speaker, the applicable use case of the quote for our positioning, and more
